Common questions
Does acupuncture hurt?
The needles are very fine, far finer than an injection needle. Most people feel a light tingle or heaviness, and I adjust the treatment to what feels comfortable.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose clothes that roll up easily at the arms and legs.
What should I bring to the first visit?
If you have test results, medical summaries or a list of medications you take, please bring them.
How many treatments will I need?
It differs from person to person. At the first visit we work out together what suits you and make a plan.
Can I combine this with regular medical care?
Yes. Chinese medicine can sit alongside your medical care. Tell me about every treatment and medication, and keep your doctor informed too.
